domaine ducroux is a family owned estate dating back 13 generations to 1643. daniel and anick ducroux, a husband and wife team, now manage the property with laëtitia ducroux. between them they have worked in many top vineyards in burgundy and alsace before returning to their family domaine. there are 10 ha of vineyards, mostly planted with sauvignon blanc. the harvest is now done by machine to ensure freshness, and each stage of production is carefully monitored and controlled with the aim of producing top quality sancerre. most of their wine sells within france to restaurants and private customers. domaine ducroux has a large number of customers who continually order cases year after year, proving the consistency in the quality of the wine.
