DISTILLERIES ET DOMAINES DE PROVENCE

HENRI BARDOUIN PASTIS

'MADE IN PROVENCE'

Enter into a history packed with taste, the history of a distillery which has inherited ancestral traditions buut certainly knows how to move with the times. Distilleries et Domaines de Provence selected the location of Forcalquier, the capital of flavours and fragrances, where it has remained to this day. In the heart of rural Provence, in an authentic setting between moutains and scrublands, it lovingly rewrites the recipes for its Aperitifs and Spirits. No need to wonder where this subtle blend of many flabours orginates. It comes from one of the most fragrant regions of France, where expertly selected ingredients are combined to make products worthy of the “Made in Provence” label.

Matching the original traditional recipes, with more absinthe, less sugar. All eyes will be instantly captivated thanks to its clear and shiny light green colour with yellow undertones.

There are the pastis brands that everyone knows...and then there is Pastis Henri Bardouin. Another vision of what pastis should be; an original, noble and authentic drink. Pastis Henri Bardouin also takes us on a journey into the heart of history from around the world. A keeper of mixed traditions, protecting more than 65 ingredients including anise mixed with angelica, sagebrush, and star anise; cinnamon mixed with cardamom, cornflower and tonka beans; cloves mixed with grains of paradise, peppers and balm; liquorice mixed with nutmeg, rosemary, sage, thyme and many others that are all a closely guarded secret. A great pastis produced for connoisseurs, which stimulates the palate without numbing it.

Nose: The first anise note then moves aside for plant aromas, then the more exotic spices, such as cardamom, melegueta pepper, Tonka bean etc.

Palate: Its intensity is powerful and its aromatic profile is elegant.
