MAYfield Sussex Hop Gin month, a month long celebration throughout the UK celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the recipe with a national programme of parties, culminating Mayfield Gin street and bar parties and to welcome Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, the new DUKE & DUCHESS OF SUSSEX. The love was shared all over the UK in May and in the two weeks ahead of The Royal Wedding and after. Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin kicked off celebrations with the 'Royal Wedding Mayfield Merchandising Display' competition which saw venues across the UK claiming their free Mayfield Gin Royal Wedding Packs which they used to create a Mayfield Gin Royal Wedding display. Bars, shops and events that took part received a free Mayfield Gin Royal Wedding Pack, which comes with Mayfield Gin bunting, drips mats, tent cards, stickers, a bag for life and fridge magnets. The best Mayfield Gin 'Royal Wedding' Display won a case of Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin.

> Sussex: The official launch street party was in Mayfield Village, Sunday Times village of the year 2017, on Saturday 12th May. This is the annual Mayfield Mayfair, where the village and visitors turn out for a day in historic costume and enjoy May Pole dancing, Morris dancing, craft fair and the Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin bar...found in the high street serving passers by Mayfield Ubiquitous Sussex Gin & Tonics. 'A day at the races with Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin' at Plumpton Racecourse for Ladies Day, East Sussex on Sunday 13th May. The headline race 'The Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin Handicap Hurdle', with prize money of £12,000, the big race on Ladies Day and Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin hospitality bars around the iconic course. The celebrations went on with the  Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin Royal Wedding Street party on Saturday 19th May in Robertsbridge, close to Andrew Hoads hop farm, which grows Mayfield Gin's Sussex Hop botanical. Robertsbridge visitors are organising a community street party, with the George Inn hosting the festivities, visitors were very welcome! The main event, The Royal Wedding, on the 19th May, was celebrated by over a 100 bars, pubs, merchants and local supermarkets in Sussex running Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin parties and tasting.

> Midlands: Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin craft beer buddies, Charnwood Brewery brewed their award winning IPA to be paired with Mayfield Gin as a Mayfield & Charnwood IPA cocktail throughout Leicesters local pubs and bars. On the 8th of May, one of the leading cocktail bars, 33 Cank Street had a trade only Mayfield Gin launch for regional bartenders. The general public wasn't left out with a Royal Wedding official launch party taking place on the 9th May at The Parcel Yard with Steamin Billy. A range of activity throughout the midlands made sure there was something for everyone, with bars and pubs such as The Bottle Garden and leading retailers like 23 Wine & Whiskey to name but a few hosting activities.

> North: Newcastle lead the celebrations with Hotel Du Vin starting early on the 3rd May for a activity throughout the North. Bartenders were invited to a trade event at one of Newcastle's top cocktail bars, The Giraffe Lounge, to experience the new Mayfield Gin summer serve IPA/APA cocktail and to learn about the versatility and botanicals of Mayfield Gin. Public Mayfield Gin & Royal Wedding events took place throughout the month across a number of the best pubs, bars, retailers and local supermarkets including Alvino's, Popolo and the Voodoo Café. Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin craft beer buddies, Box Social joined in the celebrations by brewing their own APA/IPA to pair with Mayfield Gin serves. Celebrations also took place in Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and other major cities throughout the North.

> London: Mayfield Gin has already gained an underground following amongst the East London bars, traditional home of London Brewing industry. Traditional east-end London street parties took place throughout the month...cor blimey guv'nor. With iconic London cocktail bar Quo Vadis running, throughout May, Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin as their featured Martini every Wednesday between 6pm-7pm. The Trading House, a hugely vibrant city bar near St. Pauls, famous for its craft beer cocktails, ran a Mayfield Gin cocktail menu from the 14th - 25th May. Michelin Star restaurant Pied A Terre served Mayfield Gin cocktails in their newly opened second floor bar all throughout May too. The craft beer buddy in London is Hiver Brewery and they hosted, on Wednesday 16th May, at their 'Hive' on London Bridge an invitation to a mixology masterclass for the trade in the afternoon and a public event in the evening.

> Scotland: Scotland joined in the celebrations with Mayfield Gin being the 'Gin of the month' throughout May at the top cocktail bars throughout Scotland, such as Di Maggio's chains: Chandon, Amarone, Café Analuz, Cardiz, Atlantic, Anchorline and The Citizen. Their flagship cocktail bar, which hosted a VIP Royal Wedding party with live screen coverage, gin and Champagne cocktails hosted by Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin and Moet & Chandon. Mayfield Gin supported a wide array of events across Scotland's capital throughout May, partnering up with leading operators such as The Big Red Teapot bar group and winner of Scotland's best Gin Bar Award, 56 North to showcase the brand as part of the national launch campaign.
