BATANGA REPOSADO TEQUILA
Batanga Reposado Tequila is a smooth and expressive aged tequila crafted by Casa Orendain, one of Mexico’s founding tequila families. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave and rested in American oak barrels for 4–6 months, it offers rich flavour and roundness while maintaining agave purity. Bottled at 38% ABV, Batanga Reposado is ideal for sipping or premium tequila cocktails.

Batanga Reposado is produced by Casa Orendain, one of the original tequila-making families of Mexico, using 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley. The agave is slow-cooked in brick ovens, naturally fermented, and double distilled in copper coil stills before being rested for 4–6 months in American oak barrels. This short ageing allows the tequila to retain fresh agave character while developing soft notes of vanilla, spice and oak.
The name Batanga pays homage to a legendary cocktail created in the 1950s by Don Javier Delgado Corona, the beloved bartender and owner of La Capilla in Tequila, Jalisco—one of the world’s most iconic bars. The Batanga cocktail, a simple and iconic mix of tequila, cola, lime and salt—always stirred with a knife—became a local classic and a global tribute to good company and good tequila. Batanga Tequila proudly carries this story forward, crafted with authenticity, character, and respect for tradition.
