fragrant, delicate grappa batches, from selected fresh pomace, destemmed, to the meticulous blending process, this grappa won over the jury panel, including leading figures like David T Smith, Ian Burrell, Marie Cheong-Thong, Joel Harrison and Colin Hampden-White, who found it to be “best in show” and awarding it the first ever “Grappa Trophy”.

IWSC Trophies are given to the most reputable companies that operate in the industry, from spirits to liqueurs, from design to packaging. They award the companies’ effort and dedication and represent a stamp of recognition for products that are absolutely perfect. The International Wine & Spirit Competition, for more than 50 years, has been judging spirits not only based on the organoleptic factors, but also on the chemical analysis results of each product, tested individually. Each year labels from over 90 countries participate in this contest, and its awards are considered among the highest and most coveted in the spirits industry.

This important recognition confirms Nardini’s reputation and the excellence of a very successful product, the result of more than two centuries of tradition and innovation in the art of distillation.

The Nardini portfolio of products is available in the UK from Emporia.
