Monluc
Pousse Rapière

Monluc Pousse Rapière is an exceptional Orange Armagnac Liqueur. The liqueur, whose old recipe is a well-kept secret, is combined with Monluc Vin Sauvage to make the ‘Pousse Rapière’ cocktail. The incredible success of this aperitif comes from the fact the two parts are made from the beginning, in order to achieve a balanced combination. The wine and liqueur are made for one another, from the same terroir, the same vineyard, creating a harmonious and natural marriage.

  • Monluc Pousse Rapière owes its name to the rapier, a long, light sword brought back from the wars of Italy by Blaise de Monluc and his Gascon captains. The Château of Monluc is an exceptional site located on the dominant part of Saint-Puy. It was built on the remains of a 13th century castle. It was the paternal house of Marshal Blaise de Monluc. This castle has endured time and invasions whether at the heart of the reign of the Merovingians and Carolingians, or during the campaign of the King of England. Monluc Armagnacs and liqueurs are created according to Gascon country family tradition.

  • A deep, warm amber orange. Beautiful aromas of oranges, grapes and fruity armagnac with a hint of vanilla. On the palate there is a rich, sweet Armagnac followed by complex bitter orange notes, perfectly balanced but strong and complex with a medium-long finish.

  • 50cl - 24% Vol.
