Staritsky & Levitsky are a group of vodka enthusiasts, passionate about reviving the heritage and traditions of authentic, small batch vodka distillation in the historic birthplace of vodka production. After years of field trips, tastings and recipe research in the geographic "vodka belt" of Europe (Russia, Ukraine and Poland), they found - in 2010 - the perfect place for their venture in the city of Lviv, Ukraine, close to the Polish border, where they started the distiller Staritsky & Levitsky. Staritsky Levitsky Reserve is the first super - premium vodka produced and distilled in the birthplace of grain vodka, Ukraine. It is a craft vodka distilled from selected August harvest grains that are cultivated in Ukraine's fertile black soil and by using pure spin water from the protected Carpathian Mountains. The unique blend of distilled spirits is selected - for each single batch - by Staritsky & Levitsky's Master Distiller. The vodka is distilled five times and purified four times. After its creation, Staritsky Levitsky Reserve rests for 30 days in stainless steel tanks to achieve its full body of flavour.

Palate: A rich, softly balanced taste, with hints of spice, and rounded by pronounced (classically slavic) aftertaste with notes of rye bread.
